You would have seen this group.. they would have been sitting out the front of the Point Café Avoca; sipping on coffee.. soaking up the sunshine whilst exchanging conversations and sharing some laughs.
Shoebox Revolution is a small, locally based charity that services the homeless community of the Central Coast and Newcastle regions.
They provide care packages to people in need, without shelter, and living on the streets.
Four years ago, the team at Cancer Council here on the Central Coast, wanted to find a fun and exciting way to raise money to help the local cancer patients and their families from the costs of living through this horrid disease. Sarah Russell and Jayne Moloney put their heads together and came up with a “Dancing with the stars” themed event!
This is a story of love, partnership & your world being turned upside down. On the 12 month anniversary, I write this in tribute.
