A SAMARITANS SURPRISE
On Christmas Day, H&H Catering, along with other local Central Coast businesses, came together to work with and create a joyful Christmas Day Community Celebration for those less fortunate, thanks to The Samaritans organization.
The festive event was held in The Grand Marquee at Wyong Race Club and H&H fed almost 400 happy and grateful faces!
Public transport was organized for all on the day, as was a load of surprises along the way.
Each and every guest were extra lucky this year!
A huge, big thankyou goes out to our local “Shoebox Revolution” who hunted and gathered for 400 care packs for both men and women who are struggling to make ends meet. What an incredible non for profit organization, run by two young sisters who are also working mothers.
Most charities choose to support only one cause, like youth on the streets or people with disabilities.
The Samaritans decided that they would support everyone.
Their services extend to the Hunter region, the Central Coast, Mid North Coast and also the Central West region of NSW, Australia.
