THE STORY OF H&H CATERING


H&H Catering is a family owned business based on the Central Coast. Our story began in 1995 with Alan & Kerry Harman launching their business from a small outlet in Gosford. Each wedding was an intimate affair with both Alan & Kerry at the helm every weekend. 


Most clients were locals, hosting their functions in local venues across the Central Coast. H&H has been a leader in Central Coast Catering now for over two decades. With this experience, we bring consistency and a level of professionalism unparalleled. H&H has catered more than 1,000 functions, with the help of over 100 local staff.


Today Executive Chef, Mark Rashid, and his team of chefs put their love of food on the plate everyday with functions across the Central Coast, Hunter Valley and Sydney. Backed by the support of business owner Kerry Harman H&H have a family of staff, many whom have been with the company since the beginning. The business has always been changing and evolving, the team behind the brand has always been the backbone. 


There is a passion and sense of intimacy in all of our staff, to ensure every celebration is cared for as much today, as it was in those early years.
Our team of chefs, event coordinators & managers, and professional front of house staff will be with you every step of the way in the planning and execution of your event.

KERRY HARMAN

Director

A degree in Business Studies majoring in Marketing is the cornerstone to the success of H&H Catering.


With a sound and professional catering establishment behind her, Kerry has developed the company profile via strategic marketing and personal involvement. 


Kerry has 25 years experience in the food service industry including, function Coordinator, the establishment of a cafe, menu design, food service manager, purchasing, and sales.

RACHEL HICKS

Functions Manager

Rach will be with you every step of the way! From your initial enquiry Rach wil be the one you liaise with. She can answer any of your questions, arrange taste tests, timelines for your event and work directly with you right up to your function date.


Rachel has a vast knowledge of off-site venues on the Central Coast, the Hunter as well as Sydney and can also advise on how to get the best out of your own property. With a background of over 20 years experience in the sales and customer service industries, nothing is too much trouble for Rach.


After a decade in the publishing industry, Rach returned to her parents family business as the Functions Manager in 2008 and has happily assisted more than 1 000 clients to create their special occasion. She will make your dream for your event become a reality

MARK RASHID

Executive Chef

Mark is our amazing executive chef here at H&H Catering. He has 30 years experience as a chef.


For 18 of those years, he has been an executive chef; in both a la carte restaurant, as well as catering establishments. He has been with us at H&H Catering for 6 years now and heads our amazing team of chefs.


Prior to starting at H&H, Mark was the executive chef at the award winning Cowrie Catering, preceded by Cassegrain Wines at Port Macquarie.


Such a talent and we are lucky to have him as part of our team creating beautiful food for our clients.


GARY BURNS

Head Chef

Gary has been working as our Head Chef of Weddings & Events since 2017 and he now heads our amazing Goldfish Restaurant and Bar in the Hunter Valley.


Gary’s 21 years experience as a chef has seen him work at places like the Mantra and Sydney Opera House, as well as running various large hotels & boutique country inns in the UK.


We are so proud to have him as part of team!







LEONIE SMITH

Operations Manager

If you are a regular to The Point Cafe you would already know her lovely face. Leonie has been with H&H Catering and The Point Cafe in various roles for 9 years!


Leonie is the one that keeps our wheels turning and takes care of all our staff.
