Director: Kerry Harman
A degree in Business Studies majoring in Marketing is the cornerstone to the success of H&H Catering. With a sound and professional catering establishment behind her, Kerry has developed the company profile via strategic marketing and personal involvement. Kerry has 25 years experience in the food service industry including, function Coordinator, the establishment of a cafe, menu design, food service manager, purchasing, and sales. “I believe the people within our organisation make the business successful in profitability, growth, and reputation.”
Executive Chef: Mark Rashid
Mark has 30 years experience as a chef. For 18 of those years, he has been an executive chef; in both a la carte restaurant, as well as catering establishments. He has been with us at H&H Catering for 5 years. Prior to starting at H&H, Mark was the executive chef at the award winning Cowrie Catering, preceded by Cassegrain Wines at Port Macquarie.
Business & Events Manager: Julia Barnes
With a Diploma in Hospitality Ryde Catering College, Julia joined the Peppers Hotel (now known as Crowne Plaza Terrigal) where she worked for 9 years, culminating in the Food and Beverage Managers role. Setting up her own hospitality consultancy agency she looked after many clients, including Mirvac and Bass Hotels. Julia subsequently joined Iguana’s Waterfront as Assistant Manager/Events Manager. After 3 years as General Manager of D’Vine Group, Julia has recently joined H&H Catering as the Sales Manager.
Function /Sales Coordinator: Rachel Hicks
Rachel has over 20 years experience in the sales and customer service industries. After a decade in the publishing industry, Rach returned to her parents family business as the Functions Coordinator. Rach’s role within H&H Catering is to liaise with clients from the initial inquiry stage, arrange taste tests and work directly with clients right up to their function date. Since commencing with H&H Catering in 2008, Rach has assisted more than 1 000 clients to create their special occasion. Rachel has a vast knowledge of off-site venues on the Central Coast, the Hunter as well as Sydney and can also advise on how to get the best out of your own property.

The Story Of H&H Catering
H&H Catering is a family owned business based on the Central Coast. Our story began almost 20 years ago with Alan & Kerry Harman launching their business from a small outlet in Gosford.
Each wedding was an intimate affair with both Alan & Kerry at the helm every weekend. Most clients were locals, hosting their functions in local venues across the Central Coast.
In the twenty years since H&H began, we now travel further afield, with functions catered in venues in Sydney, the Central Coast and Hunter Valley.
H&H has catered more than 1,000 functions. With the help of over 100 local staff, we have catered for weddings, 1st Birthdays end of life celebrations and everything in between.
Alan & Kerry have instilled a passion and sense of intimacy in all of their staff, to ensure every celebration is cared for as much today, as it was in those early years.
From the initial enquiry to the event itself, H&H understand that food plays such an important role in family celebrations. We work with individual clients on a level that ensures your thoughts and ideas are interpreted to reflect you and your event.

History Of H&H Catering
Created in 1995, H&H Catering are leaders in the food services industry, servicing the Central Coast as well as Sydney, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. Our sister business, The Point Cafe Group, located at both Avoca Beach and Japanese Gardens, East Gosford, are a part of the collective family of H&H.
H&H have a family of staff, many whom have been with the company since the beginning. The business has always been changing and evolving, the team behind the brand has always been the backbone.
H&H Catering has been recognised for our continual delivery of excellent service and we take every possible opportunity to create lasting memories for our clients and their guests, with emphasis on maintaining the highest quality of attention to detail.
About The Point Cafe
On the Waters Edge of the famous Avoca Beach, is the Best Kept Secret of the Central Coast “The Avoca Point Café.” Our Avoca Beach location is a community institution, serving locals and visitors for over 10 years. With beach front views and award winning menus, it’s hard to go wrong.
Seasoned travelers would have to travel the world extensively to find a better place than where The Point Café is situated. White sands, blue ocean, a natural rock pool where children play, and the regulars of the Avoca Point Café watch the surfer’s battle with the waves or the whales and dolphins riding underneath them.
The menu is extensive, with something to please the most discerning customer. The food is both innovative and fresh with attention to detail and service is always with a smile. The Point Café Avoca offers an all day breakfast as well as lunch 7 days a week. Our motto is “great coffee, great food, friendly service, with something for everyone.”
Our passion for food and service now extends to the Japanese gardens and Edogawa Art Galley of East Gosford. A completely different atmosphere from Avoca, the Point Cafe Japanese Gardens are amongst the surrounds of tranquil gardens, which reflect peace and serenity.
Our menus change on a regular basis but our motto “Great coffee, great food, great service, with something for everyone,” extends to this hidden gem where weddings, private functions, and long lunches are common.
