Urological Society of Australia & New Zealand, NSW Meeting

H & H Catering were thrilled to recently host the 2017 Urological Society of Australia & New Zealand, NSW Meeting for dinner over two nights in November.
The 160 delegates experience two very different style of events at two different locations whilst conferencing at Terrigal.

The first night was an informal welcome at the Japanese Gardens (venue) where delegates were encouraged to view the wander through the beautiful Japanese Gardens and view the latest exhibition in the Gosford Regional Art Gallery.

Guests were treated to a sumptuous Grazing Table (menu) while enjoying the sounds of a local string quartet. A selection of Hot and Cold Canapes (menu) such as goats cheese soufflé with house chutney, BBQ tuna skewers with soy & wasabi mayo & twice cooked pork belly served with teriyaki glaze were on the menu.

The following evening the Gosford Classic Car Museum (venue) played host to their awards dinner with guests encouraged to dress in the theme of 50’s Rock n Roll to match the stylishly decorated room by Spark’d Events (supplier). The guests enjoyed canapes while viewing all the cars of the bygone era. The crowd was entertained by dance band Jelly Bean Jam as well as a special guest surprise performance from The Voice 2015 winner Ellie Drennan.

H & H Catering worked closely with the organisers to ensure all tastes and dietary requirements were met on the evening. Entrees featured Cantonese style duck with crispy noodle salad, hoi sin dressing & sesame seeds and grilled king prawns with salad of feta, mint, watermelon salsa, flake almonds and chilli lime dressing.

Main course was an alternate selection of Sous vide lamb rump on potato galette, seasonal vegetables and red wine jus and Crispy skinned barramundi on kipfler potatoes with heirloom tomato salad and zucchini ribbons. F followed by a tasting plate of Espresso brulee with chocolate tuille, lemon curd tart served with a citrus salad and a homemade dark chocolate brownie served with clotted cream and raspberry coulis.
